CILA Handcrafts is more than just a brand — it’s a tribute to two incredible women who inspired my love for hand embroidery. The name CILA is lovingly derived from my grandmothers’ names, both of whom were deeply passionate about stitching and embroidery. As a child, I watched them bring magic to fabric — from beautifully hand-embroidered dresses made just for me to even our pillow covers adorned with their stitches of love. Those early memories, filled with colour, creativity, and warmth, became the foundation of CILA Handcrafts. Today, through CILA Handcrafts, I aim to continue their legacy by sharing the art of embroidery with the world. We offer online hand embroidery classes that make learning easy and enjoyable, along with a collection of handmade scrunchies and silk thread bangles crafted with the same passion and care passed down through generations.
